The Rails were formed in April 2002 in North County Dublin and started off doing covers of their most influential bands, the Beatles, The Strokes, The Foo Fighters, The Hives, and other rock bands. After playing a number of gigs they took time out to work on original songs and record in the studio. They have over 30 original songs, and are working on many more, which have been described as modern day rock style Beatles tunes. To hear some of the songs, they can be downloaded from here.
